General information for sponsors
The Belgian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is one of the largest and most active scientific societies of Belgium. It has a membership of over 1000 normal members, active in the area of the sciences, medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, veterinary medicine etc., which are associated with either academic institutions, institutes of higher education, institutes of biomedical research (CEN, ICP, Pasteur etc) or in the private sector. The members of the Society represent a highly trained and specialised public that constitutes an important market for your products.
The Society organises three meetings per year which are attended by some 100-150 members each. In general each meeting comprises two invited lecturers and some sixty free communications in the form of posters. Fifteen days prior to each meeting the members will receive a booklet with the abstracts of the presentations together with the list of the sponsors.
As sponsor you will receive all the mailings of the Society to its regular members (4 to 5 per year). Through these mailings there is the possibility of communicating job offers and occasionally information about new products can be included as well. Also there exists the i to present to our members products or instruments during a scientific meeting. Upon request the Society can provide you with the address list of its regular members.
Sponsors will have the possibility of advertising their logo on the Society's website. For this purpose the society will maintain a web page especially devoted to its sponsors. The Society may create direct hyperlinks from the sponsors' logo to the sponsors website.
The annual membership fee for sponsors has been fixed to 500 Euro. The secretary of the Society will be at your disposal for any further information.
